Karoly Zeman. At age 12 years, Karoly was enrolled in the Hungarian
Circus School. After one year of schooling, he started performing with a
flying trapeze troupe.
He bought a BMX
bicycle with his earnings and started learning tricks on it just for
fun. He practiced on the street every day after school and as he
became proficient on the bicycle, he started participating in
competitions. He won many international competitions and in 1992, he
captured third place in the World BMX Championships. He is the
only performer to present a double somersault on the BMX bicycle. |
